Bad Bird PhotosThere are no bad birds. But there may be bad bird photos. Somehow, even some of my photos I know are less than spectacular make me happy. I met a bird photographer who had trouble deleting any of her bird photos because she felt bad for the bird (as if it knew or cared)! This group is about: sharing bird photos, both bad and good. Getting feedback on bird photos, and posting photo tips about bird photography. If we write posts specifically about bird photography, we may post them to this group. However, the group is open to individual posts and discussion in forums. This is a public group which means that responses and topics left in forums may be seen publicly. Please read the rules in the group forum after joining. By default, this group sends out a daily email digest. You can change that in your email settings for the group. If you'd like you can also subscribe to group push notifications if you are subscribed to browser notifications.

Favorite PNW Cycling Routes and TrailsThis group is for sharing and discussing favorite routes and trails for cycling in the PNW. They can be any kind of cycling route or trail -- I'm not a mountain biker and while I used to be a fast(ish) road cyclist 100% and still do ride on-road out of necessity, lately I've been preferring to explore off-road trails when I can. Maps created in our routes section can be added to the group if you are a member -- but it's not necessary to create a map to make a post. By default, the group will send a daily digest of any group activity. You can change that in your email settings for the group. You can also subscribe to push notifications for the group if you subscribe to general push notifications first. The group has a forum for discussion. Please read the rules there when you join.

It's also used for posting recipe posts when we add any new ones to the website, so it's an alternate way to subscribe to recipes on this website vs. email newsletters -- though you'll get notified of any new recipes or forum posts that people add to the group as well.
