Kumoricon is Portland’s annual celebration of anime and Japanese culture. 1
I love the Oregon Convention Center where it’s held. They have a nice little bar area where you can go hang out while your kid or kidult runs around in cosplay.
You’ll find the usual anime convention fare: panels, guests speakers, contests, cosplay, anime showings, and vendors.
The price quoted here is for full weekend registration at the door. But there are discounts for single-day registration and for early bird advance registration — the sooner the cheaper.
