t found David Sedaris through picking up his book Me Talk Pretty one Day (still my favorite of his). His personal family essays range from hilarious, to irreverant, to heartbraking — often in the same piece of writing. The Santaland Diaries from his book Holidays on Ice is also an annual holiday favorite read.
He generally comes to speak at Benaroya Hall every November — but he’s also doing another event in Tacoma the day before this one.
Tickets range from $65 to $75 depending on seating.
