Nature-focused Groups and Forums

Sometimes we just wanted to share something that didn’t require an entire article. So we’ve added groups and forums. We invite you to join in or create an (on-topic) group if you’d like. Here’s where you’ll find any nature-related groups if there are any:

Nature Trivia!

We’ve started adding some trivia quizzes to our mix!

Recent nature entries from our PNWWiki section

We sometimes wanted to refer to things in-post, or just share about one local piece of public art…so we added a glossary section. Here are our recent entries about local nature:

Recent Nature Galleries

We’ve recenty added a galleries section. We’ll get back to this and when we tag some galleries as specifically nature-focused, we’ll put them here.

Recent Polls

Below are any recent sitewide polls related to nature.

Nature Products

Here are any items from our shop with a nature theme:

Photo that we took of a green heron at Union Bay natural area in Seattle. He stopped to pose for us — but we had to sneak the lens through some brambles.

Further Thoughts

We’re excited about getting out and exploring more again and away from the keyboard!

While we’re at it, we can recommend some of our favorite birding and nature apps (this isn’t a promotion — we just love ’em! Very helpful, sometimes, in learning bird ID, though we love books, too!

What are your favorite birding and nature apps?
