I think this campout is one that I heard about via someone in our photography group. The annual Wenas Audubon campout happens at the Hazel Wolf Bird Sanctuary at the Wenas Creek Campground and bill itself as a “celebration of birds, bats, butterflies, botany, and the beauty of spring.”
The event is just a bit later than in previous years to avoid Memorial Day weekend.
You should have a Discover Pass. No registration is needed FOR the event. You should check requirements of the camping area, though, and we did not quote fees here because fees are the campground fees.
The address we listed here is just for the “Wenas Wildlife Area” as there’s no specific address for the camping spot. You should check the event website for details and directions.
The photo, here is just one of my own bird photos as there was not an event photo.
