Event Description

The annual Moisture Festival is billed as “comedy/varieté.” Think of vaudeville, perhaps.

You might find clowns, jugglers, strong women, acrobats, magicians…the list goes on.

Each act is short — within a 3 to 10 minute time slot.

Here’s a blurb from the organizers:

Moisture Festival once again presents our signature high energy comedy/varieté shows, all accompanied by a live show band. Varieté has its roots in the Music Halls of 19th century England, cabaret in Europe, and vaudeville in America. Because of the talented artists currently working in this genre, it is still fresh, exciting and tremendous fun for the audience. Aerialists, acrobats, jugglers, physical comedians, clowns, magicians, dancers, musicians, and burlesque artists are just some of the awe-inspiring acts you’ll find at the Moisture Festival!
