Show Brazil Productions proudly presents Brazilian Carnaval 2024, at The Crocodile, located at 2505 1st Ave, Seattle, WA 98121, where incredible bands played within the walls of Belltown’s much loved room including Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Cheap Trick, R.E.M, and Yoko Ono.
This year’s theme “SAMBA” featuring Brazilian-born, local favorite Eduardo Mendonça and Show Brazil!’s host talented musicians and dancers.
Special guests to celebrate of the biggest Carnaval in the Pacific Northwest include VamoLá and Dancers.
Exciting changes to this year’s carnaval celebration include a larger venue that can accommodate more party-goers.

Eduardo Mendonça and Show Brazil!
MENDONÇA, a native of Brazil Internationally recognized, and respected has been performing in Brazil, Nepal, and Canada. This talented musician, composer, arranger, and musical director has explored the many and varied genres of Brazilian popular music, entertaining such notable personalities as the 14th Dalai Lama, Pope John Paul II, and former South Africa President Nelson Mandela. Mendonça appeared in the PBS “American Masters” documentary: “Paul Simon: Born at the Right Time” which aired in 1993. In May 2016, Eduardo performed as guest artist with the jointly sponsored Seattle Symphony-Carnegie Hall project “Link Up: The Orchestra Moves,” exploring the creative process of this passionate composer through melody and motif. Mendonça is the Music Director for iBuildBridges, and voting member for The Latin Recording Academy – Grammy.
Eduardo offers a unique and pleasurable musical experience and his performances never fail to enlighten and entertain multi-generational audiences about music theory, history, and investigation. As Paul de Barros of The Seattle Times observes, “Seattle is lucky to have Mendonça in the neighborhood”.
Show Brazil!, “The Soul of the Brazilian Culture” brings a highly energetic performance throughout the Northwest for events such as Folklife and BrasilFest, has delighted audiences in the United States and Canada.
The ensemble features accomplished performers from Seattle and Brazil.
Our History:
Show Brazil Productions promotes Seattle’s Brazilian Carnaval since 1995 (always SOLD OUT house ) led by Brazilian-American immigrants Eduardo and Ana Paula Mendonça.
Ana Paula Mendonça as a woman and immigrant, and Eduardo as an African-American man and immigrant, are a representation of a minority working hard to surpassing challenges to keep alive the diversity of Brazilian culture in the Pacific Northwest since 1995.
