The Seattle to Portland (STP) is one of the premier cycling events in the country, organized by Cascade Bicycle Club. It’s a 200-mile ride between the two PNW cities, which riders can choose to do in one or two days.
If you choose to do it in two days, the stopping post at the midpoint is in Centralia college and Cascade provides some lodging at the college as well as more upscale camping options outdoors and plenty of community orgnizations provide lodging as well.
Here’s a map of the route:
Class one and two ebikes are officially welcome at this event — though I’ve read of riders completing it with a Specialized Creo (which is definitely a class three ebike!). But make sure that your battery will get you all the way.
We wrote a bit more about the event here.
