Summer Events in Seattle Puget Sound Summer Festivals

Summer’s Here!

Summers are beautiful in the Puget Sound area! The grey finally goes away, the sky clears and it’s time to get outside. Summer events in Seattle (and Puget Sound area festivals) range from the zany to the family-oriented…there are too many to do them all, or even to list them all.

This is a guide to many of the major  Puget Sound Summer Festivals and Summer events in Seattle. Included are fireworks and Independence Day events near Puget Sound and Seafair events.

If you have an event you’d like to add to our calendar, you can do it here. Or, if there’s an event you’d recommend we add to this post, you can let us know.

Have a fun Summer!

What does it say about me that this is one of my favorite Puget Sound Summer festivals? This is the huge rummage sale that takes over the entire building and grounds of a middle school on the island. July 6, 8AM-2PM (but line up early!)

Seafair Pirate Landing

Aargh…get ready for some marauding as the Seafair pirates launch the season with their annual landing at Alki. July 6, 1-3PM

Greenwood Seafair Parade

I’m slipping this one in here…it actually happens mid-week on July 24. I’m a former (but always at heart) Greenwood Girl and we don’t mind going to our parade on a Wednesday night! This may be one of the oldest Seafair parades in Seattle.

The Fourth Weekend in July
