A getaway in the trees.

Treehouse point is a fantastic place to stay if you want a unique and rustic getaway. Take a relaxing walk by the river or through the woods — or take a yoga class if one’s available while you’re there (they have a yoga studio!)

Pros

  • Unique and charming
  • Relaxing, wooded setting
  • If you want a getaway from your treehouse, the lodge has a fireplace, books, tea and cookies, games, and other amenities.

Cons

  • They’re treehouses: many of them have an outdoor commode.
  • Due to their nature, they’re not accessible (at least not the ones I saw when I was there).

They also offer a tour for those not staying in the houses.

We wrote more about it in our post about treehouse lodging.
