Add Routes and Location Maps Forms

We can’t add a form for submitting routes and maps directly due to the form, but we’ll link you to the respective forms from the FAQ.

Routes are a post type that featured a map with a track and waypoints with the locations listed out. You can draw a route, upload a GPX track and we plan to re-add the ability to import routes from Strava again in the near future as it’s a handy way to add routes.

Routes have their own, custom, form. As with most posts, you must be registered and logged in to submit a route.

Location maps also feature a map but one with a single location. You can add your location and some information about the location. We often use maps to add to posts about places. We also will likely add some reviews features into map locations so we can add reviews of places we’ve visited, or enable members to do the same.
