Wings Over Willapa is an annual birding festival held in September at Willapa National Wildlife Refuge in Long Beach, WA

At the time we’re listing this event, registration for this year’s festival isn’t yet open. For most festivals, preregistration is required for some events. Please check the event website for details.

Note: As we didn’t have an official photo for this event, the osprey photo here is one of my own. I just wish it has been a bit sharper, but it was taken from a drifting kayak. It was, however, not taken at Willapa.
