Celebrate the bright yellow flowers of Spring at the annual Daffodil Festival. The Tacoma Daffodil Festival Parade is the premiere event and also occurs in three other locations.
Note that we updated
The festival orginally started to support agriculture in Pierce county. Now most of the daffodil fields that were there at the time have been lost — but we can still celebrate this harbinger of sunnier days to come.
The festival doesn’t entirely take place in one weekend. The parade is one centerpiece, but there are other events such as a princess tea or the queen coronation which take place on other weekends.

We’ve listed the “location” here as Pacific Avenue and 15th street in Tacoma as it represents the approximate midpoint for the Tacoma parade’s usual route down Pacific Avenue.
