Summer Bonsai Solstice

An open house for the summer solstice. This is one of only two nights a year when the Pacific Bonsai Museum stays open past 4 pm. Come take in the light and beauty of their woods and bonsai, have a stroll, meet up with friends, take a gorgeous photo, and smell the fresh air of a summery evening.

Event Description

An open house for the summer solstice. This is one of only two nights a year when we stay open past 4 pm. Come take in the light and beauty of our woods and bonsai, have a stroll, meet up with friends, take a gorgeous photo, and smell the fresh air of a summery evening.

Featuring:

Bonsai Demonstrations by Victrinia and Eric Ridgeway
Sound Bathing and Breathing Demos with Mary Clymer at 5 PM, 6 PM & 7 PM
Games/art activities
Taichi & Qigong with the Federal Way Community Center Taichi Group demos at 4:30 -5 pm (Brocade, participatory session); 5:30 – 6 pm (cleansing qigong, participatory session) & 6:30 – 7 pm (Taichi, participatory session)
Food trucks
We will also have our pop-up shop open that evening so you can pick up prints, pins, stickers, cards, and more.
Free admission (with a suggested donation of $12 for adults who can support the Museum).
