Event Description
The Spruce Railroad Run/Walk is part of the Run the Peninsula race series and features a 5K, 10K, or virtual run.
The Spruce Railroad trail runs alongside Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park which is generally lovely in the Autumn — hope for good weather. I was riding along the trail a bit later in October than that in 2024 and stopped vs trying to haul my bike over some fallen trees.
But, anyway…as it’s alongside the trail, parking for participants and spectators is not allowed at the trailhead. We’ve listed the parking location as the start, here, which is across from the Joyce General Store. They’ll be offering a shuttle from there to the run start location.
