Event Description
Sakura-Con is an anime convention in Seattle and the largest of its kind in the PNW, held annually at the Seattle Convention center.
Like most similar conventions, events include cosplay contests, vendors, a manga reading room, anime viewings, karaoke, various panels, and more.
I am a veteran of this convention having taken my daughter there many, many times and have sat through such panels as one about anime for parents and one about Les Miserables (did you know there is even a manga about Les Miserables in Japan?).
At the time I am listing this, again, their website seems to be down so the ticket prices listed here are approximate and I’ve given their facebook page as the event URL.
