THE ULTIMATE GRAVEL BIKE RACE takes place in North Spokane County traveling through rural farmlands up to Mt. Spokane and back to Big Barn Brewery. Climb for the Cure isn’t just another bike race-it’s a way to turn pain into a purpose. It’s a high-adrenaline, high elevation challenge that pushes cyclist to their limits, all while raising critical funds for cancer research. Help in the stunning mountain terrain around Spokane, this annual gravel and mountain bike race is as tough as it is rewarding.
Riders take on grueling climbs, fast descents, and rugged beautiful backcountry roads. The physical challenge mirrors the fight against cancer: unpredictable, exhausting, but ultimately worth every ounce of effort. and while racers push their bodies to the brink, they do so knowing that every pedal stroke makes a difference.
This race offers multiple course options to accommodate different experience levels. One loop route is 50 miles with over 6,000′ of elevation gain and another route 22 miles with over 2,000′ of gain. Multiple categories; age group, e-bike (pedal assist) and corporate cup. All categories are chip timed with a total of four group starts. Just to make things more interesting we have a $12,000.00 purse for category top finishers.
Our stop and start location, Big Barn Brewery, will have food, drink, and live music at Friday nights SWAG pick up and more of the same for race day June 21st. Free food and drink for riders on race day. Friends and family are welcome to come and enjoy the festivities.
