Cranksgiving is an annual event held in some communities where cyclist pick up food to support their local food banks. The Port Angeles event starts at the Port Angeles Farmer’s Market. Here’s more from the organizer:
The 5th Port Angeles Cranksgiving will be on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, starting at 11:00 am. Meet up at the Port Angeles Farmer’s Market to join other riders looping to nearby stores to purchase food for our PA Food Bank. Bring $20-25 to buy food. Prizes to “first finisher” in several goofy categories. Even though it’s a “Food Drive on Two Wheels” you can also ride a one-wheel, a strider bike, or use training wheels. Wear your helmet, too.
