November 9, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Kitsap Salmon Viewing Issaquah Salmon Days Salmon Ink drawing

Every November when it’s time for the salmon to spawn, several sites in Kitsap have a salmon viewing day in area parks, hosted by WSU.  It’s advised to bring polarized sunglasses, if possible, to get a better look.

At Erlands Point Preserve, according the organizers:

Activities will be available for all ages and include informational booths, refreshments, and trained salmon docents who are present to assist in viewing and identifying salmon in the stream. Biologists will talk about the various types of salmon in Kitsap, the salmon life cycle, and healthy fish habitat.

Of course, it’s possible to go on your own and see the salmon on other days as well.
