Kitsap Salmon Viewing Issaquah Salmon Days Salmon Ink drawing

Every November when it’s time for the salmon to spawn, several sites in Kitsap have a salmon viewing day in area parks, hosted by WSU.  It’s advised to bring polarized sunglasses, if possible, to get a better look.

More information about salmon viewing at Cowling Creek, according the organizers:

Join the Suquamish tribe and Friends of Miller Bay to learn about the importance of salmon to the Suquamish people, the role habitat plays in salmon survival, and what we can do to protect and restore habitat for these animals.

Of course, it’s possible to go see the salmon on other days this time of year as well.
